We all know jewellery is like the cherry on top of the cake when it comes to putting outfits together and it enhances your beauty. It comes in different forms such as necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings.

Difference Between Skin Tone And Skin Colour
Skin tone is determined by the amount of melanin present in the uppermost layer of your skin. Skin colour is caused by increased deposition of the pigment of melanin.
There are different colours of jewellery such as gold, white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, silver, platinum, etc.

Different Types Of Skin Tones

Cool Skin Tones

Cool skin tones are best complimented in light jewellery such as white gold, platinum and silver. Darker jewellery doesn’t stand out as much and it will not compliment them best.

Warm Skin Tones

People with warm skin tones look best in darker jewellery like classic gold, yellow gold and rose gold. Red jewellery works well too. Warm skin tones can also wear light jewellery however it does not really compliment their skin nearly as well as darker metals.

Neutral Skin Tones

People with neutral skin tones look good in both light and yellow metals. They can wear anything because neutral skin tones are a mix of cool and warm skin tones! Whether they mix their metals, neutral skin tones will still look good.

I am sure we have all worn jewellery and just felt that it doesn’t look good on us. Finding the right jewellery that best suits our skin tone is important and helpful.
