Holding hands

Whenever they come around, you get shy and suddenly you start to feel butterflies. You can’t help and you think it’s time to do something about it. You need to finally tell your crush how you feel!

Confessing your feelings to your crush is quite terrifying, but worth it. Here are a few simple steps that can guide you through this terrifying process

1. Make sure that you are really your crush

Telling someone that you like them is quite risky, so you need to be sure that you like them. First things first, you need to ask yourself one major question, do you see yourself in a long-term relationship with this person?

Make sure that it’s not just infatuation that will fade away after a while.

2. Choose the perfect manner in which to tell them

Since you are already anxious, it would be wise to choose a manner that you would feel comfortable with. Some people will feel more comfortable face-to-face; others might feel more comfortable over text or phone call. If neither of these ways suits you, try the old fashioned but also a romantic way of writing a letter to your crush.

83. Be clear

When the time finally comes for you to confess your feelings, try to not be vague, and clearly state how you feel about them. Words might not flow as easily at that moment but remember you don’t recite a whole romantic story. You can simply say that you enjoy their company and so on.

Be honest to them.

You’ll never know how they feel about you unless you shoot your shot. Whether it will be a good response or not, at least you won’t go about your life wondering.
