Hello readers, I hope this finds you all well.
My name is Twapewa-Ashihe Mungoba and I am officially the newly-appointed Editor of Afterbreak Magazine. I attend school at Delta Secondary School Windhoek; grade 12. I enjoy challenges, hence I am ready to take on the role as the editor. I look forward to working with the Afterbreak Team and I am so excited to show you all what we have in store, I am almost certain that are not ready for us. A couple of facts about me:
- I enjoy talking, if talking was a person, it would be me.
- I love taking photos.
- I do a lot for my school, such as debating, being part of the LRC team and a number of committees.
- Cooking is one of my passions. I like to think of myself as an “upcoming Chef”.
- I binge watch my favourite series on Netflix like some psycho, that is truly one of my favourite hobbies.
The above mentioned facts are what make Twapewa, Twapewa.
Furthermore, I personally feel that Afterbreak as a whole is an amazing platform to connect and read about everyday trends and activities. We have expanded the team and can’t wait to share with you all the amazing contributors behind Afterbreak!
We are faced by a deadly pandemic and I must say we haven’t seen this coming. I tested positive for missing my homies and I am sure if we knew, we would have made more jokes and hugged a little longer. That being said, I trust everyone is taking the necessary precautions and praying to our Almighty Father.
Our founder, Rejoice Amutenya has been taking the necessary precautions and viewed the pandemic from a positive outlook.
The current pandemic has somewhat also proven that we are indeed running into a digital era which makes us more determined to run a digital publication because there will be no hard copies in the future. Everything will be run and dealt with online.
In a nutshell, I wish everyone a blessed Easter weekend fulled of love, laughter and endless memories.
