The Remedy To All The World’s Problems

Everyone has their own way of dealing with their problems. Some may exercise, some may read books, others may take hot baths and many ignore their problems all together. It is undeniable that you can incorporate music into any of these situations. Music is defined as vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony and expression of emotion. The thing is, music has many definitions for different people. Music is whatever people think is music.

Over the years music has changed, but fragments of the past still linger in the music of today. Music is timeless, because it can be enjoyed and passed down from generation to generation. Great music can never be forgotten or erased, for instance, take the music of the great classical music composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He has been dead for almost 3 centuries and until this very day his music still lives on.

Music makes people feel emotions that are hidden beneath their surface, while expressing what is in their heart, mind and soul.

Without music the world would be a sadder, colder and lonelier place. It makes situations and occasions more special, pulling at the strings of our hearts, making us shed tears of all kinds.

Most people’s lives revolve around music, it gives them something to latch onto when they feel alone, it is relatable and most people love having something to relate to, it makes them feel more human and relieved to know that they are not the only ones going through a rough patch. Music takes them to a personal place where they are allowed to be vulnerable and truly themselves. There is a saying that goes,

The eyes are the windows to the soul.

This metaphor has become outdated and

Music is the window to the soul

would be more fitting.

There are scientifically proven benefits of listening to music such as:

  • Music makes you happier.
  • Music lowers stress and improves your health.
  • Music helps you sleep better.
  • Music reduces depression.
  • Music strengthens learning and memory.
  • Music reduces pain.

Now that you know this, listen to as much music as possible and make the world a better place. Music is diverse and it is categorised in genres. Different genres appeal to different people .There is an abundance of music in the world and it would take time to put them in their respective genres.

Music should not be discriminated against, because of the language or the country it comes from. Music should be given the chance to be enjoyed and felt with every fibre of your being, there is so much of it and you cannot possibly want to seclude yourself from all that beauty. Music is the language of the world that connects every single soul that inhabits the earth and it is the glue that holds people together and lets complete strangers call themselves family.
