2018 has been a great year for Afterbreak! We are filled with gratitude by the outpouring support we have been receiving ever since the launch. We are truly beholden. One of our biggest highlight this year has been when we got featured in The Namibian newspaper, thanks to Netumbo Nekomba for acknowledging our hard work.

It is September and this means its spring! Although Spring really only begins on the 23rd of September 2018 in the Southern Hemisphere, it is still winter before that, it began on the 1st for many. Speaking of winter, it lasted a decade but that’s okay- In this issue we share with you some spring wardrobe essentials for both ladies and gentlemen.

We also caught up with Miss Teen Namibia 1st Runner Up 2018 and our favourite cricket player, Ramon. To top it all of, we teach you how to shop on a budget and so much more!

We would also like to introduce new columns and our new contributor!

Check out our new columns:

Beauty and Fashion – We’ll be giving beauty tips, fashion tips, styling and you name it!

Food Column – We’ll be sharing our favourite and easiest quick meals in the kitchen and everything based in food, pretty much.

Hair Column – We’ll be catering for all the help your hair might need, you can count on us.

Meet Our New Contributors:

1. Aina Braz

My name is Aina Braz, an optimistic 16-year-old. I was born and raised in a small beautiful town, Tsumeb (Namibia). I am currently doing grade 10 at Okahandja Senior Secondary School. I am a very simple straight-forward girl, which many people do not know.

I do very well in school and my favourite subjects are Accounting and Entrepreneurship.

I have a lot of people who invest a lot in me and I have excelled at most of my many and varied hobbies. I am driven by the desire to do great things for myself and for others. I am probably the most caring and understanding person I know.

One of my biggest dreams is to pledge a sorority in varsity and grow and learn with different people from around the world.

I certainly am not one to “sit still and look pretty”.

1. Wilka Kayoko

My name is Wilka Kayoko, 15 years young attending school at Delta Secondary School Windhoek. My hobbies include reading books and expressing myself through writing. I enjoy playing football. I love travelling. I love nature. I always look forward to go to the north because of the mesmerising sunset that penetrates my soul.

…what we are currently loving!

Rejoice: I am currently having a love affair with the checkerboard Slip-On Vans. These shoes literally stole my heart and I need someone to make my dream true. My email will be down below for anyone who needs my bank account details. *wink, wink*

Thank you in advance.

Mehafo: Wrap Dresses are my Spring Must Have item.I am absolutely obsessed with Wrap Dresses and pastel coloured block heels. The simplicity and comfort in both articles is simply breathtaking for me. Funny thing is, I own none of the 2.
