Save some coins from the tips we are about to share with you and thank us later. Grab a pen and notebook and start noting!

When you can’t afford something popular AKA expensive.

  • Plan Ahead

Always plan ahead. Draw up a budget plan to figure out your income(s) and how much you are willing to spend. Avoid impulse buying.

  • Shop Your Budget, Not Your Taste

This one’s the hardest. Don’t chase trends and if you can’t afford to buy it twice, leave it on the shelf babe.

  • Say NO to Designer

Popular designer clothes look cheap nowadays because no one can tell or spot the difference between something fake or original. If you want a designer garment that you can’t afford, look for a garment in a similar shape, silhouette or colour scheme and make it your own.

  • Pay CASH

Say NO to Debit/Credit cards. Statistics show that people tend to spend more when using Debit/Credit cards to purchase clothes/ food.

Sales are a great opportunity. When stores have a SALE, make use of this as it is not an everyday thing. You can get basic wardrobe staples for even 75% off.

  • Sell, Trade or Toss

This is self-explanatory. If you unwanted clothes, sell them to earn some money! Now that you cleaned your wardrobe, you can see what you need.

You can be a good Samaritan and donate to the unfortunate.
