New Beginnings- Editor’s Letter

What you are reading right now, is the very first issue of a brand new magazine.

I have always wanted to be able to read a local teen magazine and looking at the fact that Namibia didn’t have one at the time, I was inclined to start a teen magazine and today I present to you Afterbreak; a Namibian teen magazine, made by Namibians for Namibians and the rest of the world.

It is with great pleasure that I write this lead-off editorial for Afterbreak, a magazine that covers everything lifestyle, school life, health and much more.

This is for readers who want to know what they can get away with. We want this magazine to be entertaining and informative, at times contrary, but above all, useful. Inside you will find a mixture of news, features and soon, regular columns on a wide range of exceptional informative-related topics.

With that being said, I would just like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the team behind this magazine; Betty Sibeso & Mehafo Amunyela, to everyone who we interviewed, thank you for taking you time and putting in the effort to answer our questions and provide quality information. You are all amazing and I hope we can work together again in the near future.
