Do you actually go the extra mile to make your hair presentable for school or do you just get up, do whatever and go? It’s both, for us sometimes, actually. We made a list of hairstyles we love, which is your fave?
1. Sleek Ponytail
The sleek ponytail tops this list, we find it so aesthetically pleasing and neat. And it is rather simple. Here is Rosina’s way of doing it on relaxed hair.
“Every morning before I shower, I wet my hair, just on top, not too much and brush it to where I want my ponytail to be. I add hair food and then a bit of gel on top and lay my edges.”
She then covers her hair with a doekie so it gets flat and then adds on her choice of hair, such as Brazilian.
Despite the fact that some schools are against this hairstyle in classrooms, Buns are the most popular way to style your box braids. The major advantage of buns is their variability, high buns can be messy or more compact, simple or with a few strands out of the bun to create a more chic look.
3. Box Braids
Box Braids have recently become an extremely famous protective style for women, ranging in size, length, and colour; they all look equally great. They’re appealing and very low maintenance, versatile and last for months when well taken care of.
Cornrows have also become a popular protective style for women, ranging in size and colour. Neat cornrows create a pattern with a mesmerizing effect that joins at the top of the head to create a ponytail which can be rolled to create a neat bun.
5. Fulani Braids
Fulani braids have quickly become a very trendy hairstyle. They differ in pattern, size and colour. Here are some Fulani Braid Patterns:
